HS23 Model Bubble Unit

Depth in stream can be determined by measuring the pressure head of gas bubbling from the bottom of the stream. For remote locations, such as streams in deep valleys, the most economical and reliable depth sensing system is a bubbler with the gas line leading back to a pressure sensing instrument located in a central or more accessible area.

The Hyquest Solutions Dry Bubble Unit Series HS-23 is a gas purge system which provides a constant differential pressure (3-5 psi) above the pressure head at the end gas tube or bubbler. This constant differential pressure maintains a constant bubble rate through the gas tube and enables a pressure sensing instrument to measure the change in pressure head and thereby the depth of river or stream. The HS-23 incorporates a regulator valve for setting the bubble rate. The unit is pre-calibrated at the factory. The design eliminates the need of sight glass and oil reservoir for setting the bubble rate. It is a low maintenance unit with minimum components ensuring increased reliability. The HS-23 can be set up as either single line purge system or with dual orifices.
